AAAAAAHHHH so good! I loved it so much, how you evoked the landscape and the pace of life and tne tightness of the community and how everything is so vast and the feeling of the future pressing in. Really loved the relationship developing between them, how it was such a convincing, boyish friendship as well as an attraction. And Olalla, what a woman! Argh I'm babbling, but I loved the dialogue so much, it felt so true (goddamn FNL, I know I'm going to be 'y'all'-ing people back at home and they're gonna be like 'what. Leave now'...).

Oh man, this worked so well as a concept and as a story, thank you so much for sharing!

thank you! oh man, i had a comment all written up for you but LJ ate it yesterday :( but i'm so glad you liked this! olalla was such my favorite to write, she'll probably get her own snippet in this 'verse because how can i not? i really loved writing her in this, it made me wonder why football writers don't write wags more often XD (y'all away, love, a'int no shame!)

As someone who loves both soccer and college football, this was perfect! The positions you picked for Sergio and Fernando fit so well and I loved the more ~intimate moments between the two - the small touches, the smiles - it was so different from the other sergio/fernando fics I read but I loved it! Turning FNL into an au fic was a brilliant idea :)
