Youth.

So, I was inspired by a particular song by this band called "The Wading Girl" as I wrote this. As such, when I picture it being recited or read, I imagine it being akin to this song by the band named "Amber Waves", if curiosity strikes you, you can find the song here: www.myspace.com/thewadinggirl

Or if it doesn't load properly,

(In my opinion, it is one of the more somber songs I've heard, yet, in a heartening manner)

Well, we were just scared, and lost, and right now,
you know I hate this, you know I hate this;
weathered rain that blots the sun with no necessity;
causing uncertainty.

Well, It's abc, and one plus one equals two, but
sometimes to me, it just feels like three.

Well, I'll pack my only bag and head for the train now,
plan for the first, but leave for the last one,
and on the way there, the air will be filled
with hushed tones and silence;
a dreadful silence, a dreadful silence.

"Please say something, anything will do",
our minds will scream and gleam,
but our mouths remain barely agape.

And as we walk, our footsteps will tremble,
I'll think to quicken, but somehow unable.
this thumping sensation and snail's pace;
paint a face of pain; but we'll keep walking anyway.

And as I board, I'll feel a tug and turn to look back,
your somber but unsurprised expression leads me to think;
"Was that just the wind?"

Well, the doors are closing now,
and the seconds in between;
seem like an eternity.

A throng of cries from your eyes and lips;
will seek to pause my heart.
A livid thought will reach me, as I
attempt to hold back my reaction;
"Please just stop this, in one way or the other"

In the last moments as I depart,
I'll notice you impart and wear a but a smile now,
sad, but entrenched in kind, and in warmth.

This is it, and I realize just quite how
"This is the last train I will ever board."
