here] Oh, yes. Rome certainly could. There was a lot China could say to that, but he chose not to. Seeing Rome again - it was all too seductive, knowing the man remembered the world as it once was. When he believed himself the center of the universe, and no one dared to disabuse him of the notion. Things changed around Yao, and he adapted, but there was still a part of him that missed what China had once been. Instead he smiled and trailed fingers down the line of Rome's jaw, replacing fingers with kisses after a while, seeming content to take his time. China was nothing if not patient.
