A Year Ago Today

One of the most exciting things about any journal is being able to look back in time, and see how far you've come. One year ago today, I made the following entry...
--------------------------------------------------------------------
"Hi everyone in LiveJournal Land! I have a splitting headache today, isn't that a nice way to start? Aaaaannnyyway, work has been killing me lately. I've been doing a lot of stuff that I don't particularly like doing, but again, am willing to do cuz it's what my company needs of me right now. I just hope someday in the not so distant future I can stop being the guy that goes everywhere for everyone in the company, and start doing real work all the time. You see, our company is extremely busy with lots of different clients right now... usually it's Buick and GMC, and a scattering here and there, but now the small clients are suddenly going nuts. While everyone in the company has had to step it up, it's meant that I have to do a lot less productive work around the office, and a lot more "Arian, you have to take this over to so-and-so in the city..." Like I said, if my company is successful, then I wanna do anything I can to help my company. Still, one can dream you know? Actually, Thursday will be great, cuz I get to go on a shoot in Buffalo! It'll be a nice break, and a wonderful opportunity for me to learn! So there is something to look forward to."
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Just goes to show you that it all pays off in the end. Sometimes you have to be the gofer for a little while... sometimes you have to grovel and say "yes sir, yes ma'am" in order to get to where you want to be. I have had so many work opportunities in the last year, I can't believe it. Obviously, working on Cherry Crush was the highlight, and without a doubt I got the opportunity to do that because I've proven that I can handle people well, and make them feel right at home at Post Central, or on a movie set. It's good to see that sometimes those little annoying projects you don't want to do, but do anyway, don't go unnoticed.

"I'll be round, I'll be loving you always...
...always."
