My Awesome Weekend
Hokay so
Spent friday nite, all of saturday, and half of sunday at Cora's cottage in Indiana with obviously Cora heh, Adam, Angie, Lerner, Kyle, Megan (from Cora's work), Kate, Gary, Miss Sarah Kane, and Hoople. Drove in 2 seperate vehicles on the way there. The van had the coolest people in it (me, ang, kyle, lerner, megan, and mr. and mrs. newman) lol had a TON o' fun at the cottage. We watched movies, played volleyball and water ultimate, went for a ride on the pontoon boat and speedboat, went tubin', sat around the campfire talking, and all around had a great time. It was kind of sad because the group of 11 kind of seemed like it split into two groups of 5 with Cora having to go between them but at least all of us did some enjoyable stuff together like volleyball, water ultimate, and campfire talks.
Things I will always remember about this trip:
- Kyle and I making farm animal noises into the radio
- Mistaking fish for otters (even though i wasn't there, it still amuses me)
- Our lovely campfire talks
- All the girls are in the lake while the guys stand on shore complaining about getting wet and the water being "dirty"
- Me doing a faceplant on the seat next to me after being thrown from my seat on the speedboat with Kyle steering...
- Everyone telling me to "hold on" on the pontoon boat because of the incident above...
- Gary's lake monster
- Miss Sarah Kane being as hilarious as she always is
- Lerner's awesome snags during water ultimate
- Adam and my's domination over Lerner and Cora in 2 on 2 water ultimate
- Hoople hitting a volleyball around with Sarah while Sarah is doing every other sport but volleyball and her kicking it over the fence and making Hoople go get it
- The insanely crazy car ride home in the van thanks to yours truly (i had a snickers blizzard from Dairy Queen)
- WINDOW!!!
