This makes less than no sense.

This journal thing, this place, everything. None of it makes sense.

Is it unusual to get the sense that you know something on sight, but you don't know it all at the same time?

Hn.

I'll figure this out once I sort myself out and get my bearings.

This place seems to be based on the illogical. Unfortunately, no one has been able to find any answers for why we are; whenever someone gets close to finding out, they mysteriously vanish.

Well then. That's...very interesting and something worth keeping in mind.

Your name...?

Don't fall into the illusion of privacy and you shouldn't have to worry.

Aurora. And you?

I imagine that most things are illusory when it all boils down to it.

Drake. Pleased to meet you, Aurora.

If only that were so. I have not been here long, but the most unimaginable things have already proven themselves real.

I was not around for that, but yes, apparently it happened.

So I'm told.

This is already proving to be fascinating.

It's more hindering than fascinating, though I must admit I have been learning certain things about myself through these strange events.

My indifference to death, my skill with the laser guns; I would not have realized these things if they had not happened. And the time we accidentally experienced the dreams of others. I found a possible lead to who I was, though I do not wish to pursue it any further.

Indifference to death can mean a couple of different things, could you clarify? And skill with...huh. Interesting.

I heard about that, and I heard that it might not cast someone in the best of light. I think...I'm somewhat glad that I didn't experience that. There's enough confusion as it is.

Someone whom I had never met died not too long ago, and it did not effect me. I was neither sad nor happy about his passing, even when I had visited the body to make sure there was no sense of familiarity.

The dreams are very ambiguous, but also very personal. The thought that others have seen mine makes me ill. It is not their place, just as it was not my place to see theirs.

Interesting. But then again the death of someone you've never met is different than the death of someone you're familiar with.

I agree with that. I prefer that others not see mine, no matter what information I might glean from that.

That was my reasoning; if I did not know the person, why should his death have any impact on my life? Others called me cold for it.

If anyone here is connected to your dream, no doubt you will find out eventually without having to expose too much.

Huh. It makes sense to me, I guess...

I've already encountered one person who insists he knows me. I find this odd.
