you ever feel like your ipod just sorta knows?
i went to see siouxsie tonight, opened for by rasputina. i felt like it was not rasputina's best set. there were two new chicks - a second cellist and a backup vocalist/percussionist. melora and jonathon were fantastic and gorgeous as always. the second cellist appeared to be made of porcelain and had about as much expression. the backup vocalist/percussionist sang fine and played the tambourine fine, but melora looked clearly peeved and i'm sorry but the chick is no zoe keating. i got there about halfway through their set, which meant i heard two songs. :(
siouxsie looks amazing. i hope i can rock a silver spandex outfit at 50. the thing is, i couldn't stop thinking that it was just all pathetic, like what's the use - the audience is all stupid woogirls and lechers. but as soon as i would start thinking that, i would stop myself and realize that someday i will be her age and i will kill to look like that and have people younger than my children cheering for me.
