another one bites the dust.
so, yet another one of my friends announced last week that she's engaged -- eek! I wonder at what point this is going to stop freaking me out... I'm guessing after some minimum threshold such things will just be old hat and I'll respond to them with a resigned sigh and a shrug of the shoulders. but then after some maximum threshold, wherein I realize that all of my friends are hitched or at least in seriously committed relationship, I'll wonder if I'll just go back into panic mode.
I'm meeting this friend in a few hours in the Marina/Union Street area to help her shop for jewelry and clothes. Though, she and her fiancé have decided that instead of having an actual wedding ceremony, they're just going to have a big party this summer -- one here for friends, another in PDX for family. So at least her wedding (or, rather, un-wedding) will be fun...and have good food, since they're both total foodies and have even started up this catering business.
but...damn. it seems like just yesterday that they met at that kegger... hehe
