dad's doing much better. they're doing a series of tests on monday, and if everything goes right he ought to be out of hospital with a clean bill of health by the end of the week, or at least as clean as his health can be. at the very least he's decided to stop smoking. and we can only hope that he doesn't get a second aneurysm.
