- Finished a project that's been taking forever and got it out of the garage. (Fancy hanging menu chalk boards for the Wayward cafe)
- Got rid of or otherwise organized a heap of stuff that's been piling up in the shop and getting in the way.
- Cleaned, treated, and put away a whole bunch of woodworking tools that were in danger of rusting from wood dust/chips. (Turning tools, hand planes, and the like)
- Ground some custom steel carving tools so J could do molds for some aluminum pours then hung out and watched the pretty fire and the molten metal.
- Put all the car seats, etc. back into the car that were removed to make room to haul all the materials for the afore-mentioned panels about.
- Dealt with the christmas tree by cutting it into smalls bits with a pruning shears and then hauling it to the fire pit for yet more fun with fire. (Pine needles crackle very nicely!)
- Finally got around to putting the digital read-out on the thickness planer and then used it to properly and precisely thickness some boards for my next project: my first fancy tool cabinet.
- Used the router table to rabbet all the slots for the runners for the insides of the fancy tool cabinet.
- Enjoyed the sun while it lasted. (We had the shop doors open all day Saturday)
- Prepped a cuckoo clock for repair. (The drive train isn't very complicated, but there are all those levers and cogs!)
- Assembled, ran the wires, and placed in the back yard a set of low-voltage lights that I'd gotten a garage sale last year with the assistance of another of the roomies.
- Took herbalism for my druid and leveled the skill up to 120.
And now it's time to collapse.
