My pre-thanksgiving day
Went to pick up my final paycheck (another post coming soon), had a meeting with a friend about something I can't talk about yet, then headed over to Bellevue to see the new Bond flick.
After that I wandered around the mall and noticed a bit of a sore throat coming on. Later I joined L and some of her friends for a fun evening of playing games at the Wayward Coffee House.
Trouble was, I knew I was getting sick, and by the time I got home I was having fever convulsions, but that went away as soon as I got inside and warmed up.
This happens to me every year when it first gets really cold and wet outside and my body hasn't adjusted yet. Trouble is that I'm now spending thanksgiving with a cold or something. It's not that bad. I'm already feeling a little better and there's lots of mindless television I need to get caught up on, but it does mean that I had to cancel my Thanksgiving plans, so everybody have a piece of turkey or tofu or other yummy festive food for me:)
