I thought of several songs, but kept on going back to Man With the Machine Gun from VIII. It starts out relatively laid-back and upbeat in comparison to most battle themes, and the overall tone of it is energetic and determined. It also changes at parts-- while it always keeps his adventurous and quick tone, certain parts are more assertive and challenging where as others are nearly peaceful (again, at least in comparison to other battle themes). I can see it fitting someone who wants to adventure in order to become more skilled and stronger in something as well, and it seems to have notes which reflect both the technological and magical elements of VIII.

Ideally, I wanted to give you an FFX song, since I associate you with that game so much but none of the songs quite matched your personality or your preferences quite as well as I wanted. Instead, I landed on FFIX's Battle I theme! It's got plenty of adventure and upbeat qualities to it, and I think it invokes a feeling of determination and spirited hope. You said you prefer songs that are fast and aggressive, as well as ones that make you want to dance. Well, FFIX's Battle I fits all those criteria perfectly in my opinion. You put a lot of emphasis on determined/aggressive but fast paced and this song stood out to me as one that suits that the best, alongside your personality.

I do love Man With the Machine Gun for you, but this popped into my head first and I'm sticking with it.

I can so totally see where both votes you've gotten are coming from, but I think I'm leaning slightly more towards Man With the Machine Gun from FFVIII out of my head as I read over your application (sample!). The tone changes at parts of the song...which reminds me of many of your answers in your application (it covers a wide range of emotions, so I think your description of being "aggressive but accepting," impulsive, hyper, "outwardly confident, inwardly insecure," determined, and "Laid-back but serious about my dreams" fits rather well!). It is definitely more of a fast song and almost danceable (and definitely an energizing song!). "The Man With the Machine Gun" screams adventure to me, and I could easily picture it being about someone growing more heroic as an award for that adventure given the tone (even if I didn't know it was about Laguna, haha!). Overall, I think it is a really nice fit for your application! XD

I really like the votes for Man With the Machine Gun from FFVIII for you. It fits your song preferences pretty well and you like songs that make youfeel energized, that are fast, complex and music that can invoke emotions so I really this this song is perfect for you. I can also see "The Rebel Army" from FFII and "Mambo de Chocobo" from FFV in your application but I really think that "Man With the Machine Gun" is a better fit for you.

Oh boy, I feel like I am being so unoriginal with this theme but I totally see Man with the Machine Gun being a perfect fit for you! I haven't thought of it at first but after listening to the songs i thought of at first and that one, i cannot unsee it. I thought of Battle I & II from FFIX, Those Who Fight Further from FFVII and all the FFVIII songs but Blue Fields. Man with the machine gun seems to fit your personality as much as your preferences. Like it has been mentioned, it has quite determined and energetic tone, it's pretty fast and assertive, somewhat upbeat, complex and definitely makes a person feel more energized due the whole melody and such. The fact you like challenge, you would go for adventure and the fact you're impulsive also kind of fits to this song to me for some reason. I don't know if i am making any sense but I think this song really fits you well.
