Name: Candace
Age: Eighteen
【 ABOUT YOU... 】
Please describe your personality: I'm quiet, and withdrawn, and more often than not serious and absorbed in my own thoughts. I need private time and if I'm surrounded by lots of people for too long, I'll need to find somewhere private to cool off eventually. Still, I do love people. I believe people are inherently good, and I like to understand what makes people tick and the motivations behind their actions. I try not to judge, and will make friends with anyone who shows me kindness. But if you treat me badly, I find it hard to forget a wrong done to me or my friends without apology. I am loyal as a dog and treasure deep, meaningful friendships rather than shallow, 'look-at-me-I'm-so-popular' ones. I'm more brave and strong than I seem, but it's not something I flaunt. I'm pretty modest and all too aware of my faults and limitations.
I love beautiful things, like nature. Scenic countryside, or just an ordinary sunset, or early morning mist in the local park can take my breath away, when most other people wouldn't give it a second glance. I love that I live by the sea. And while I'm in no way religious, I also find architecture like old churches, castles and cathedrals stunning (and hell, are there plenty here in England!). Unfortunately, I live in the middle of town, so the only chance I really get to see some nice things is when I travel. I love to travel and see different places and people, big cities and new experiences, and spend some time away from home. Even getting from A to B itself is fun and exciting, for me, because it's still new places.
I can have a sarcastic, deadpan, snarky sense of humour, and I can have a just plain silly sense of humour. I like to have fun. At heart I'm still a little kid who enjoys magic and adventure -- and that's part of why I love Final Fantasy, and reading books. On the other hand, I'm growing up now, and craving independence and self-sufficiency. I want to carve out my own path in life and discover my potential, and while it might seem daunting, that's part of growing up.
Some of your likes: Reading, vidya games, animals, nature, writing, fanfiction, fantasy, travelling, daydreaming, dark colours, athletics, chocolate, learning (so long as I'm interested in the subject matter).
and some of your dislikes: Cars (so stuffy and horrible and sjhfsd motion sickness), people who laugh at others' misfortune, arrogant people, judgemental people, sexism, racism, class inequality, selfishness, immaturity (the bad kind), whiners, cowardice.
Five negative traits of yours: Indecision, a tendency to put myself down (I underestimate myself, get angry with myself if can't do something or am slow to learn it), laziness/procrastination, stubbornness, hiding my emotions/thoughts
Five positive traits of yours: Determined, strong sense of justice, empathetic (good at understanding others & giving advice, non-judgemental), patient, loyal
What is the first impression that you give to others? It can be different depending on the person and my mood at the time. I can seem quiet and withdrawn, or I can start conversation and seem quite friendly.
give some adjectives people close to you use to describe you: Quiet, intelligent, honest (sometimes bluntly so), sarcastic, stubborn.
Is there any character you strongly oppose to being voted as (if there is,pick only ONE): Nope, anyone is fair game!
【 THIS or THAT 】
Are you...(feel free to give a little explanation)
Optimistic or Pessimistic: Optimistic. That doesn't mean I see the world through rose-coloured glasses -- with some things, I tend to be realistic, but it's not all doom and gloom. (Feet on the ground, head in the clouds?)
Cautious or Impulsive: Cautious
Calm or Hyper: Calm
Mature or Immature: Mature
Safe or Brave: Brave
Outgoing or shy/reserved: Reserved, but not shy. I like talking to people, including strangers, but I'm not completely open either.
Hardworking or Laid-Back: Laid-back, although I work hard around exam time.
Confident or Insecure/Doubtful: Iffy on this one. Leaning towards doubtful.
Light-hearted or serious: Serious
【 GET READY TO FIGHT! 】
What is your fighting style? Do you plan ahead? Defend and support your team? An offensive fighter or something else?: Defend/support. I'd like to be able to help and protect others rather than focus on causing harm.
What motivates you to fight? Would it be for the sake of the world, for someone you care about, for a specific desire, for yourself?: I have a pretty strict moral code. It'd be just because it's the right thing to do.
Are you the type to taunt your opponent during a fight, or just get the job done without speaking much?: Get the job done. I'm not a show-off type.
If you had to face a much stronger opponent, what would your thoughts be? Would you develop a strategy or rush into the battle and hope for the best?: Strategise. If they're stronger, I'd need the advantage!
Do you enjoy conflict or do you seek to end battles as quickly as possible? As quickly as possible. I'd probably enjoy the excitement of the moment, but not conflict, if that makes sense.
Are you the type to work for another, be the leader, or work solo?: I'll be leader if no one else takes charge, otherwise I'd probably work solo.
【 SITUATION 】
You're in the middle of a very important battle, but your friend/partner is deeply wounded. You have a chance of winning if you continue fighting, but their wounds look pretty severe... Do you finish the battle or help your friend and flee/lose?: Flee. It's not all about winning!
Someone just ordered you to take an important but risky mission where there is no guarantee you will succeed. You had been given a chance to decline, but there are great benefits if you do succeed. Would you accept or decline it? Accept. Risks are just part of life.
You're standing on the street when an old lady comes and asks you to help her. How do you react? Go along with it, ignore her, punch her in the face...?: Go along with it and ask what's up. :)
You've obviously been chosen by one of the gods for a reason, but how do you feel about this? Are you honored? feel as if your freedom has been taken away? wish you could throw them off a cliff?: Honoured in a way, but not that thrilled to be fighting someone else's battles for them without them even asking first, god or not. :|
Someone you don't recognize is in mortal danger. They could die if you don't help, but they might be on the opposite side of the conflict... what do you decide? Help them. Doesn't matter who's side they're on.
