At first, Nova wasn't entirely sure she was in the correct area after spotting Xion (A little girl, for pete's sake) waiting as quiet as could be in the open space. Even a trained killer like her, so pumped full of depressant drugs and neural inhibitors that she had no choice but to obey, hesitated at the thought of grinding out a child's life under her boot. But she'd done it before and would likely have to do it again before this holy war was over. But it wouldn't make her stronger. What would the point be?
Shedding her invisibility with a brief blue glow that slid down her spotless white suit, Nova stood just a meter or so away from Xion. One slender eyebrow was partially raised while she studied the giant key firmly settled in the girl's hand. "...you're younger than I thought you'd be."
Xion had felt someone there before she had heard anything - blame Never Was for making her aware of when eyes were on her - but Nova had come up so quietly. She had switched her keyblade into a defensive posture in an eye blink. After all, you could never be sure of who or what was sneaking up on you out here. And there were mannequins that looked like copies of people, even her, disturbingly enough.
She blinked in surprise. She had seen people move at all kinds of speeds, even teleport. But she was sure she had never met anyone who could turn themselves completely invisible and just stay that way.
Her bright green eyes switched almost lazily to Xion's face from the keyblade, obviously dismissing the weapon as an ornament rather than a possible threat. "Soldiers generally are. You expected another preteen?" The Ghost agent responded, amused despite herself. To be absolutely honest, Xion looked rather harmless even with the unwieldy joke of a weapon in her hands. The girl might've been better off with a lead pipe or a wrench - less blatantly obvious and more portable.
"...this is hardly going to be an even fight." Nova's expression morphed into a slight frown while she settled one hand on her dormant psyblade, musing mostly to herself instead of speaking directly to the girl before her. Handicaps would have to be set to make the sparring match even remotely fair. Her cloaking, for example, would be an automatic no-no. As for psionics... she could fight just as well without them.

She cocked her head to the side. "You're older."
