[Rosa's come prepared for this outing, armed not with her bow but a picnic basket. She smiles with affection as Cecil looks around, ever vigilant over his friends and their safety. There's something she's been meaning to talk to him about, but this hardly seems the time and she is content to see Cecil happy and so animated to see his friend.]

He'll be here soon.

[When Cecil spots the unmistakable grey armour and cape of his friend, he smiles and meets him halfway. Firion looks to be fully recovered from the last battle, thankfully, and in happier spirits than before.] I'm glad to see you're well, old friend. And don't worry, Rosa and I just arrived.

[He glances back at her, and then to Firion, not sure just how much the two of them have spoken.] I suppose the two of you need no introductions?

We've spoken briefly before. Your friend is a pleasant one, Cecil.

[Rosa wastes no time in setting down her basket. Collecting both of Firion's hands in her smaller ones, she smiles up at him.]

It's so good to finally meet you.

[Cecil smiles as he watches the two of them; they seem to have taken to each other well enough. It makes him wonder if Rosa would like Tidus as much.]

Yes, we've all been granted enough time to recover. [Mostly, anyway. There's some things from that battle Cecil won't forget.] With the final battle approaching, we should enjoy this peace while it lasts.

We should. I brought something small to eat. Shall we look for a place to sit?

[Cecil looks around and sees a secluded spot near a group of trees; it would provide better cover than sitting out in the open. Even in a comparatively ordinary situation like this, he can't stop thinking like a soldier.]

How about over there, Rosa?

It's perfect.

[Cecil receives a brilliant smile from Rosa, then she leaves ahead of the men to set everything out, so they can have a small space of time to themselves.

When they catch up at their leisure, there will be a small blanket laid out and a selection of snacks set out.]

[Cecil nods, eyes fixed on Rosa almost wistfully.] Yes... She's a wonderful person. More than I feel I deserve, at times.

[Whatever he means by that, he doesn't elaborate, and tears his gaze away to look at Firion.] Did Tidus tell you he has someone from his world, as well?

She's called Yuna. [Cecil chuckles slightly.] I think it would be more appropriate to say love found us. Tidus and I remembered not a thing about them, until they arrived here.

Even if you don't yet, I'm sure you'll find someone special to you as well, Firion. Even if I never get the chance to meet them, knowing you'll be happy is enough for me.

[Cecil looks back over to Rosa, and notices she's almost finished setting everything out.] Ah... Let us be off. Rosa's waiting.
