[The warrior looks especially serious when he begins to speak into his crystal. Cosmos's announcement is the first significant task they've been given since they awoke here, and he is determined not to fail in it.]

The first battle will soon be upon us. As Cosmos said, we must prepare.

I fought a Mankin of Golbez earlier. Does that count?

Of Golbez? Who is that?

[He feels like he should know this, but he doesn't.]

Golbez is a big guy wearing black armor. You can't miss him.

[But he knows him, so he might as well tell him.]

The man who appeared only recently, you mean? He is called Golbez?

Yes. I think he fought here before.

You know of him?

Yeah, we used to fight him back in my world, but he was merely controlled by someone named Zemus. He went to the moon to fight him, but he was defeated, and that's where Cecil and us came in. Zemus was finally beaten due to our actions, and our world was saved.

Do you believe Golbez is to be trusted, even when not under the control of another?

[Nods.]

Cecil trusted him back in our world. If he could do that, then so can I.

Still, he is a warrior of Cosmos. He cannot be trusted too far.

Yeah, maybe. But who knows? He might be willing to help us.

Perhaps so. However, I would not wish to see an ally exposed to a trap.

Me either. But you've got an ally that can spot a trap a mile away!

I see. Then you will keep watch on him, will you not?
