He has been taken from his rightful place, at the whim of the gods.

It doesn't make any sense, though. Cecil would never want to become a Dark Knight and hurt anyone. This is probably that Chaos's doing.

[He's reluctant to share details about it with a person he doesn't know or remember, but he does seem to know that much about Cecil.]

[Apparently, Golbez had gotten amnesia as well.]

So, how do we stop them?

By defeating Chaos, and finding a way to end the cycle.

[Well, that figured. Kain and Rosa were both struck with amnesia as well.]

And all we have to do is try not to hurt any innocent people trapped on Chaos's side. I hope.
