This is Valentine with an update on the stalemate.
We have a basic plan. Once we arrive on the battlefield, I'll remain at our base to gather those of you who still want to participate. If we start relatively close together, we'll leave after five minutes; if we're scattered again, double that to ten, just to give everyone sufficient time to regroup. We'll meet up halfway with the Cosmos team and form a stand there to try and prevent soldiers on either side from crossing.
[A brief pause; she's a soldier, more specifically a leader, so she has no issue with giving orders. But she also knows that not everyone will take them--especially from a stranger, maybe even because she's a woman--so while this is definitely a statement, not a request, she's making sure not to come off pushy. Just firm.] Our goal here is to force a stalemate. Lethal force shouldn't be necessary, although I do know that at least a few people can and probably will make this mission difficult--fighting will be inevitable. But whatever happens, we're not making the first attack. We're here to stand neutral and get answers, not incite more bloodshed.
If we get a warning before the battle, I'll repeat this message just to make sure we're all still clear on where we stand. If you have any questions or concerns, let me know.
