002 :: Second Case :: [Video]
[Naoto can be seen wandering around, the landscape looking much like that of the Planet's Core. She's obviously in thought, and has the crystal in hand to speak to both factions with ease. Something's been bothering her lately. The detective looks around, eyes cautious, and then sighs as she finally puts words to the thoughts she's been having lately.]
It seems the gods are being as indecisive as ever. As I've seen on these crystals, the sides are divided by light and dark, correct? One would honestly think that it would be a simple matter to divine beings. [One hand gestures for each example.] Cosmos for good, Chaos for evil.
[There's a pause as she considers her next words.]
If this is true, then why do I keep hearing about others belonging on the side they shouldn't be on? Light cast with dark, dark with light, people forced to work for a side they don't believe in. Why be sent to the wrong side to possibly fight against your own friends from your world?
None of it makes sense. I was hoping-
[Her statement is interrupted as a nearby mannequin launches an attack at her, to try to catch her off guard. The crystal goes flying onto the ground as she grabs her gun, bullets whizzing by the figure harmlessly as she fires. Another few seconds pass, and out of nowhere, a blue card forms just above her, whirling in the air. She fires at it, and yells a single command as it shatters-]
Come, Yamato-Takeru!
[-And a creature appears out of nowhere, raising a small sword as two panels of light rise from the ground, surrounding the mannequin and then binding it. They then shatter, causing the enemy to go with them, just as easily as it came.
The summoned being disappears, and the crystal is once again picked up and looked at.]
As I was saying- I was hoping some of you would give whatever information you have. Whether you know you are on the correct side or not, or your friends believe otherwise. Any clue as to how the gods may think could indicate on how to escape from here in the future.
