You have nothing to apologise for. It's not as if you are the one responsible for this war or for us being chosen by Chaos.

However, my decision not to fight you has not changed just because your heart has. It is just a shame we are not on the same side though.

Hmph, just..be careful. I know you aren't as skilled at fighting as I, and it would be a shame if something were to happen to one of the few people who I find tolerable in this mess.

Yes...that is precisely why I stay in the rear, providing support for the close-combat warriors.
