Alright, I'll fight. I...don't have a reason yet, but I have something. It's not much, but it's better than nothing at this point.

[ he picks up on the emotions in that answer and he pauses, trying to discern how the boy is really feeling. he's no psychiatrist by any means and normally, he'd be quite terrible with dissecting peoples thoughts and feelings. but somehow, this feels like something he can relate to. ]
