II. The Awakening

When: The beginning of the Second Cycle.
Where: The void, Order's Sanctuary and Edge of Madness
What: The warriors are summoned once more.

For a moment you feel yourself surrounded by some strange light, an energy that encompasses you, but it’s only a fleeting impression, one that fades to nothingness. Your eyes are closed, and you feel tired, and peaceful. It is almost as though you are dreaming.
If you are summoned by Cosmos, you feel as though you are becoming surrounded by warmth and comfort, and you can feel light shining upon your face. A voice, gentle and feminine, speaks to you as though you are a close and trusted friend.
“My warriors… Please, hear me. You must bring light to this world, and put an end to Chaos, once and for all. Discord must not reign over all.”
If you are summoned by Chaos, you feel an immense and uncomfortable pressure upon yourself. A deep and threatening voice speaks to you, in a thundering tone that allows for no argument.
"Warriors of Chaos! You must destroy those who stand against us, and bring our power to hand. Do not fail me, or you will pay the price. "
The voice fades away, and the presence, until are not sure that you did not simply dream it. You drift, for a time that seems both endless, and far too short. Something begins to pull at your attention, drawing you from your sleep-like state, and pulling you to attention.
You wake up. You know what must be done- you need only do it.
