WTF People! WTF!

Am I the only one not overjoyed by the latest proposal to seat Michigan's delegates? Michigan Rep. Bart Stupak proposed a plan Monday that would combine their January primary with the results of the final national popular vote. Basically, 83 delegates would be apportioned according to the primary results, while the remaining 73 would be apportioned according to the final nationwide popular vote. So, Hillary (who recieved 55% of the vote) would get 47 delegates to Obama's 36-- a mere difference of 11 delegates. With Obama at a 700,000 vote lead in the national popular vote (because Michigan and Florida are not counted) that leaves the possibility that he will pick up the remaining 73 delegates. This does not reflect the will of the voters in Michigan, according to their primary results. They should (a) hold a new primary, or (b) allocate the delegates according to the primary results. This is a ridiculous proposal that I hope does not get approved. There's talk of doing the same in Florida. While Obama goes on and on about empowerment and hope, he's denying millions of people in Florida and Michigan their votes. What a hypocrite. I'm starting to become one of those people who will not vote in November if Obama is nominated.
