It has come ta my attention that I need, perhaps, other employment bastard netherworld and bastard reality and bastard death. I was told that the library was possibly hiring. Anyone know who I can talk to? No that I have all of my papers and wotnot, but I graduated from Cambridge with a PhD in Literature. I have other work, but I've agreed to not ( Read more... )

It's a doctorate. Means that I spent a lot of time and money reading a great deal of books.

Why spend money to read books when you can read them for free at the library? Do you not have libraries either?

*laughs* Well, I got a degree in them. So I could get a job as a writer. It's horribly silly on the outside.

Basically I am now considered an expert on books and I got to spend a lot of time with other people who also love books. It was worth it.

I got quite a few grants and scholarships, so it wasn't too bad for me. Cambridge is a very expensive school, you can go for cheaper other places.

Well, I can't say if it was nice or not, but I met someone from Acadia University when I was in Cambridge. She was quite well read.
