I do not know what is going on. Seems ta be something in the water? 'Course I shouldna be in a hurry to judge. This City, is just out to keep mucking with us. Though I guess it's not so bad. Though this may be a change from one evil for another.

How is everyone holding up?

Like I said before, I wouldna put too much into what I'm sayin' today. While I admit to being a bit of a cunning fellow from time to time, I think that the City over-reaches me. Of course, then again, maybe one of these days it'll get too full of itself.

Well, I typically would but I think the City likes to put misfortune on those that cross it. It tests the limits we have and seems to enjoy our pain with no small amount of sincerity. I don't much mind most of the curses meself but sometimes it likes to turn on my friends.

So, it's like a harsher version of karma and dharma? Always seemed more chaotic than that to me.

Every once and a while I hear a tale of how the City is alive and there's some goal it has in mind. Not to say that these stories are to all be believed. It does give you something to think about.
