(no subject)
If I had only held out another 31 days it would have been a year since my last post. Wow. So, nothing much going on. I'm trying not to think about buying shit for Christmas. I enjoy the giving and receiving rituals, but this year I'd like to save that money so Ashlee and I can someday find a house to live in.
Almost a year huh.. well what else has been going on. Uhh we got a new couch a few months ago.. now we want to get a different one.
I've started a couple of new jobs since last December. My career at Comcast was unfortunately cut short but now I'm working at S.E.H. America. I operate machines that grow silicon crystals that are destined to be sliced in to wafers for the semiconductor industry. I work 12 hour shifts in a cleanroom suit but it's not too bad. It's a job for now, I'll probably be on the lookout for something different at some point but I've been enjoying something new.
Hmm what else has been going on. Ash and I took a kick-ass trip to Yosemite and then Las Vegas over the summer. I'm disappointed that camping season is over, we were busy in the forest or at the coast all summer long. We do have a mountain cabin reserved with Ashlee's dad for the beginning of January that will give some relief... I hope it's cold and snowy because the cabin looks cozy.
