Update for week #2
Well well well. I woke up and went in to work this morning only to find that it turns out I have Wednesdays off instead of Thursdays. I put in a few hours and went home and certainly didn't go back to sleep like I should have being that it was a day off and I need rest. Two days of real work gone by without a hitch, that month of easy training is behind. Monday, the first day working on the main floor by myself with no guidance started off like a Monday should. Somebody hit me on my way in to work. My car was stationary with blinker on waiting to make a turn when a nut in bronco or something turned too sharply and glanced off the front of my already beat-to-shit Camry. The poor car didn't sustain any functional damage as far as I can tell but it looks even worse now which is funny because I've never hit anything or been involved in an accident.. well until just then I suppose.
The beer I brewed is actually pretty good, just tried some in a paper dixie cup! I was thinking the brew would end up being a flavorless American style lager since the kit came with all the ingredients I'd need. Ended up modifying the recipe by adding honey .. Mmm. I can bottle anytime feel ready, the beer is waiting on me. One more week after the bottling and it will be ready to drinking. Its too bad that I cant make very much at one time, too many friends I want to share it will. I think I'll end up with 20 or so 12oz servings if I can stop sipping it before it gets bottled.
Last but not least, the sky has been overcast for weeks.. its conspiring against new telescope owners. I know there will be plenty of opportunity to freeze my ass off and stare blankly into the sky but I want to now damnit.
