Manic Panic
I've had the craziest week and a half imaginable. OMG. And, to make things better, I've been essentially running on no sleep for the entire duration.
Most of it has been an incredibly good crazy thanks to a new romantic endeavor ♥, long late night conversations with one of my best friends, and going to the gayest show ever on Saturday: Brandi Carlile featuring Amy Ray as the opening act. In Atlanta. I'm sure you can imagine how insane that was. Brandi was super sweet, too. Quite possibly the best part of the entire night, though, was getting her to sign my copy of The Hotel Cafe Presents...Winter Songs. I'm currently on a mission to get every artist featured on the cd to sign it. Katy Perry will be the last to do so.
While all of this has been going on, Furman has been kicking my ass with midterms. Somebody please explain to me why we don't have study days for midterms like we do for finals? Instead we have to go to class, do regular work, and also cram for midterms and write papers. All during homecoming week, too (not that I'm going to participate in any of the festivities). Excellent planning Furman. So I just took my chem midterm today (suck) and I've got both an English grammar midterm and a paper due Friday.

I effing love how much e4 is pimping the shit out of Naomily. Really, there are no words to describe my happiness. I posted this at a another community, but as an American I am extremely conscious of the fact that we are never going to see a network support a lesbian relationship in the way that e4 is supporting (and facilitating the fans' love of) Naomily. First we had the assurance from Jamie Brittain to stop worrying about Naomily; then e4 gave us the LilyKat interviews while no one else's besides Merv's has been posted (still anxiously awaiting Meg's interview); now we have tons of new Naomily footage (including the greatest gif ever!!!) and the e4 sponsored Naomily fanvid contest. Seriously, how well do they know the fangirls? Naomily. Fanvid. Contest. Plus, the amount of time it took to make the stop motion animation video to promote the contest is unfathomable, therefore further illustrating e4's love and commitment to Naomily. ♥
In other Skins fandom news, Kaya Scodelario would go gay for "Lilly Loveless in a second". Get in line Scods. Who doesn't love the Loveless? Also, I love the fact that Kaya can never spell Lily's name correctly. Ever. And it's not like they've been friends for two years or anything.

Have still yet to see this week's eps of X Factor (the first live show!) but I did watch Lucie's segment. ♥ ♥ ♥ I really think she's going to go far and I'm totally Team Jones.
