Player Name/Nicknames: Lavvy
Player LJ: LavenderAlana
AIM: kakuagu
E-mail: alana_chaisson@hotmail.com

Character: Sora (real name unknown, but he prefers to go by his nickname anyway)
Fandom: .hack//SIGN, with brief appearances in other parts of the .hack series (OUTBREAK, Liminality, Legend of the Twilight Bracelet, ZERO)
Appearance/Personality: Sora had short green hair with ridiculously long bangs split in the middle (the left half is slightly shorter than the right). He has a scar on his left cheek and has dark brown eyes. He wears a purple headband and a large purple muffler. His outfit is a black full-body suit with purple marks along the legs and arms. His boots are brown and he also has small brown knee pads. Around his waist are several belts, with two reaching over his shoulders. He also wears elbow-length fingerless leather gloves.
Lastly, he has his weapons, The Last Betrayal, which is a pair of blades that are stored inside his thick metal arm-guards. A trigger placed in his palm allows him to bring them in and out of their protective guards in the blink of an eye.

The most obvious part of Sora's personality is his immaturity. He acts childish and cocky, constantly trying to annoy others and be a pain. Sometimes he even adds his own sound effects to his actions. He hides all of his feelings behind his foolishness, rarely appearing to be anything other than cheerful. Only when he's staring death in the eyes would he ever even come close to admitting being afraid. This makes him a great liar, though, because it's hard to tell what he's actually thinking.
Sora works alone, and that's all there is to it. He's fairly selfish, only caring for his own needs and manipulating other people to get what he wants. He's very hardworking and clever, though. How else would he reach the highest possible level in "The World"? He's also very good at gathering information, and on some occasions has traded information with moderator groups in "The World". He also appears to have a bit of an ego, thinking that he's stronger than everyone else.
However, this is just an evaluation of his personality based on how he acts in the game. Before the Skeith incident, he probably didn't take much of "The World" very seriously, whether or not other players had fallen into comas. Now that he's experienced what the game is really capable of, he knows better than to push his luck too much. Despite not being in a game anymore, from his position it still feels like a game, so Sora might still have some problems with taking things seriously now that he's in some other world with no reset button.

History: Outside "The World", Sora was a fairly ordinary ten year old boy. He started playing the popular MMO with his friend, who had the username Wiseman. Sora spent a lot of time leveling up his character. Additionally, he killed weaker players and became a well known PKer (player killer). There were also stories of a Kew of the Twilight, a legendary item in the game that went beyond all the normal boundaries. Having reached his maximum level, Sora decided to try and find the item for himself. However, as he became more and more involved with the Key of the Twilight, it became clear that there was a lot more to the game than it appeared. Weird things began happening--unbeatable monsters appearing in the game, and players falling into comas. Through other players he found out about Tsukasa, who was linked to all of the strange occurrences. Tsukasa was one of the coma victims, but had been chosen by some unseen force inside the game and given a Guardian, an unbeatable monster that could instantly put other players into comas with just one attack. There was also a group called the Crimson Knights who believed Tsukasa was a hacker, and occasionally asked Sora for help because of his "persuasive abilities".
Throughout the ordeal, Sora was constantly changing alliances. For a while he would help Tsukasa, then he would run over and help the Crimson Knights to capture him, and then join up with some other player like B.T. for a while before going back to Tsukasa. In the end he encountered the true source of the problem and the one who gave Tsukasa his power, Morganna. He made a temporary alliance with her, but when he decided to switch sides again and help Tsukasa, he finally got what was coming and became a vessel for Skeith, one of Morgana's eight phases. As Skeith, he hunted down the actual Key of the Twilight, an A.I. named Aura, and tried to destroy her. Meanwhile in the real world, he was in a coma which lasted six months before Skeith was finally defeated by Kite. He doesn't remember much of that time.
Despite his bad experiences with "The World", as soon as he recovered Sora went back to playing the game. He stopped searching for the Key of the Twilight--he already knew what it was, anyway, and it wouldn't make him more powerful or anything like that.
He continued his life as usual until about three years later. After encountering several glitches, Sora found himself unable to log out. He wasted a few minutes freaking out woahmygod trying to figure out why this was happening, then fell unconscious and woke up in the Digital World.

Sample Post: Hello there! :D I'm Sora, nice to meet you, blah blah blah. Now, to the point!

I can't seem to access my flash mail, so could someone send a message to a guy called Wiseman for me? Just tell him 'Sora's in the game', he'll understand :P

He doesn't get it lawl XD

Also, my opinion of Dannie hasn't changed in the past few days.

Should I seek help? .D.
