complications of my plan

i have friends dropping like fire-flies
perhaps their not dropping
perhaps their just not around
either way
wait
perhaps it is my doing
i've been pretty good at cutting the fat
or pretty bad at cutting the fat
but either way
i miss the people who have come into and out of and into my life
i wish things were simple like summer and pretty like spring
but i guess things weren't simple then either
could i please type a confident unwavering thought please
its going to be five soon
