Words just aren't really enough to describe Kauai. So I'll leave it to these.
I will say that I am very grateful to have an awesome friend who was willing to let share us a week with him at his timeshare out in Puipo. Thanks again, Mark.
I used two cameras during the trip, my Nikon DSLR and with great success a Yashica TLR. I think it's somewhat telling that of almost 2000 digital and 96 film shots, nearly half of what I'm uploading are film shots from that Yashica.
Of course, panoramas like this:
And long exposures like this:
Are far above and beyond my ability to make with film.
II did very little touchup on these except for basic cropping and cleaning up of sensor dirt. It was just so damn beautiful I wanted to let it stand as close to the way I saw it as I could get.
