Announcements:
In the middle of July, 2 things will happen:
1) Last Icon Maker Standing will begin. As it gets closer, more details will be posted. At the moment, I will take donations for a prize... You may donate $1, $2, $3, whatever... You can send it to my PayPal account at avanderland@msn.com. I do not use my PayPal account for ANYTHING right now, so do not worry about me getting confused and using money or embezzling. I promise to be honest! However, if you would like to have a "check" on me, please comment to THIS ENTRY with your name, email, and the amount you donated. I will keep the comments screened, BUT my other mod will be able to see them and that will be a "check" on me. Plus you will have your receipt as well.
ALSO---if you had wanted to donate something other than monetary goods (whatever it may be, whether it is something graphic---icons, headers, etc, an old purse you never used, some jewelry you like to make) please comment here with your name, email address, and the exact details of what you would like to donate for the prize(s)!
2) We will begin "Newbie Mod's Choice." I love seeing it when new people win & I really think it encourages people to join. So, starting in the middle of July (We will announce it on the challenge), all new members FOR THEIR FIRST FOUR COMPETITIONS they enter, please write "Newbie: ____ Challenge" with your entry... If it is your third challenge, second challenge, whatever, write that. PLEASE, PLEASE BE HONEST. I am relatively familiar with the people who enter regularly. Out of those who are "Newbies," a separate Mod's Choice will be given. So get all your friends to join! I love seeing lots of entries, and I love seeing new faces!
OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS
3) I am going to start putting together April's Finest today. IF YOU WON ANYTHING IN APRIL (including Mod's Choice) PLEASE MAKE SURE THE ICON IS STILL THERE---I will save them to my computer so they don't have to stay up long-term, but over the next few days at least. In the future, we will save winners to our own photobucket account to prevent this from happening :)
4) I am going to start putting together June's Finest today. The winners from the Cinderella Challenge (Challenge 25) will be the last challenge in June. :)
5) We used to catalogue things to the memories, but it is kind of a pain to go back and catalog them. SO, with the addition of LJ-TAGs, I am going to start adding LJ-tags to the entries starting with Challenge 26. If you would like to search for winners from now on, that would be the best way to do so.
These icons have until WEDNESDAY before I put up the poll without them.
