I have a theory that one day Bo eventually winds up at the daycare center, and then with the help of the toys there, she gets sent to Bonnie and Woody.

... No one can make me believe otherwise. XP

I missed her too, tbh. Having her in it would have been the one thing that would have made the movie flawless, in my opinion. Personally, it's not that I'm this rabid Woody/Bo shipper (I am a shipper though) because their interaction isn't really what I missed. I just missed her personality. I love that she was feminine, but grounded. Levelheaded, but still playful.

I've kind of wondered if the writers struggled with how to put both Jessie and Bo on the screen together believably...without stealing anything from Jessie since she is marketed as the main female. Bo is a side character and Jessie is a main character unfortunately. Not that I dislike Jessie either! I just like them both!

I understand why she isn't in the movie because at the end of the day it is rather unbelievable (especially since she wasn't a toy and she wasn't Andy's to begin with) to the story plot. Of course, good writers can find loopholes if they try hard enough. But while I understand why they didn't, it doesn't make me miss Bo any less.

Jumping on the agree train too. I enjoyed Bo's sweet and calming presence in the movies, and I think I would have liked TS3 better if she had been in it, to be honest.

I actually didn't care for Bo. She was too aggressive in my opinion, I'm a Jessie/Woody shipper.

I didn't miss her, I missed Weezy.

And Jessie isn't aggressive? I've just always been a little confused by the fics that paint Bo as a snob/aggressive/etc. (I'm talking even the Jessie/Buzz and Woody/Bo fics - not just Jessie/Woody - that paint her this way). I mean, I really like Jessie just the way she is by all means so this isn't a "defend Bo by attacking Jessie" speech either. I just think it's unfair to call Bo aggressive. I actually thought she had moments where she was caring, but she had to do so in such a way that would get through to all of the hardheaded boy toys around her. If anything, I'd say she had a maternal or older sister thing going on, not aggression. On the other hand, I see Jessie as the younger sister personality and think she can come off just as aggressive (although I don't think that's the right word for either of them). Oh and if you mean the use of Bo's staff to get Woody's attention, I didn't personally see it as aggressive, but simply a means of flirtation (probably from the weird femdom fantasies of the film creators unfortunately). Lol, there's ships to everything nowadays~. And Jessie is very aggressive, I always considered her more on the outgoing side though. And like you said, I see a little sister figure in her when she's around all the other toys. I guess for the "damsel" Bo, I didn't care for how forward she was. She flirted often, never gave Woody the chance too, and even was smitten by Buzz on his arrival. "I've found my moving buddy." I guess that just annoyed me. Though I do like how she would cheer up Woody and give advice now and again. I was always also bothered on Woody's head proportion compared to Bo's, haha! Same with Buzz/Jessie. One has a massive head, one doesn't. xD But that's just me.

See, I never saw Bo as the "damsel" so I think that's another misconception people tend to have. It's not her fault that Andy chose to make her the damsel when playing with her. It could be argued that Jessie has "damsel" qualities too since she was rescued by Woody in the second film and Buzz in the third. I can understand if she flirted too much for your tastes. Everyone has different tolerance levels for that kind of thing. I found it cute that she took the lead, but again, that's just my preference and my love of Bo as a character isn't at all based on her interaction with Woody. As for her being smitten with Buzz, it's because Toy Story was a completely different movie almost up until it's theatrical release. Woody was a much different character up until the infamous Black Friday screening. Originally Woody was the anti-hero of the film, much more devious and flawed, and so they intentionally painted it so that everyone was smitten with Buzz. I agree it makes her flawed and she should have stood by her man, lol, but I've always ( ... )

I agree, entirely! It's nice to hear others opinions and see their point of view rather than fighting and pushing for your ships. I am glad Bo has fans, she deserves them as much as any other character~. :) Thanks for helping me understand her more.
