I think I'll be cross-posting this a bit to try and get my answer.
So since our Cable got shut off yesterday, I've been going through all the VHS tapes I've been accumulating over the years looking for stuff that Molly will enjoy watching with me. One of the tapes I found is actually a t-tape boxed set of "A Day At Disneyland" and "The Magic Of Christmas At Disneyland". Of course neither of them have a date on them, so I'm really curious to figure out what year these tapes were made! They're a great glimpse in to the Disneyland of yesteryear :)
So here are the clues on the tape of "A Day At Disneyland" that I was able to gather. What year do you think this was made?
- The Main Street Electrical Parade was still going on.
- Fantasmic was the big act before the fireworks.
- Splash Mountain was up and running.
- Pirates Of The Carribean still had Pirates chasing women and the Wench Auction.
- Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse was still The Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.
- Beauty & The Beast seems to be the most recent movie that any reference was made to.
- Launchpad McQuack for Disney's "Duck Tales" was a featured character, but no mention of Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers.
So! Anybody have a guess as to what year it was? I have my own hunches, but I won't post them till everybody has had a chance to give a guess :)
Oh, and also! Anybody interested in a DVD copy of these videos? I'm thinking of hooking up my VCR to my PC and encoding a few files... think I'd sell 'em for $10 each. Does that sound fair?
