"Oh! I look good!" Jake paused, leaning backward to inspect his apperance by way of the mall store's window. Miley had to agree--no matter how much she didn't want to. Jake never failed to "look good".

"Alright, lover boy, let's go. I'm hungry!" She grabbed his wrist and yanked him away from the store.

"But I want to buy a t-shirt." Jake stood back and crossed his arms.

"We can come back later. We are two normal teens, doing a normal mall trip. We have plenty of time."

"As long as no one sees us." He looked around suspciously, expecting some fans to hop out from behind some bushes or something. His teeth skimmed his bottom lip.

"That, my friend, is why Hannah exists. Now come on. I want a cinnabun."

Jake scrunched his nose. Cinnabuns were too sweet. "Promise we'll come back?"

"Yes! Now let's go!"

Again, she grabbed his wrist and yanked, pulling him towards the food court.

"Hey, look. An ad."

"We're in the mall, doofus. Of course there's an ad."

"And one I'm not in!" Jake seemed somewhat pleased with this, despite his arrogant, self-serving personality. It was nice to take a step away once in awhile. This was one of the few reasons he was appreciative the last movie he had done was a flop.

"Congratulations. I'm hungry. If I have to pull you to the food court, I will."

Jake sighed and followed Miley once again, this time not being dragged along.

Ten minutes later, Jake saw the ad again. "There's another one!" He tilted his head, examining the title of the movie being advertised. "Bruno."

"This is the same one from before, Jake. We've gone in a circle. Whoever designs these malls...." She left their fate up to Jake's imagination.

Distracted, Jake pointed to the sign. "They missused the umlaut. You wouldn't put an umlaut over 'July'. Or 'Bruno' for that matter. Even besides the fact that we don't have umlauts.... That's obnoxious."

"They're taking artistic liberty, Jake. I'm not really blonde, am I? It's the same thing." She grabbed his hand and began to march foward again in search of the food court.

Still, she smiled. At least the boy had some depth.
