The Basics

• What are you passionate about? The Arts : Music, dance, singing, writing, drawing, costuming, acting
• Pet Peeves? Hypocrisy, but that’s sort of a hypocritical answer in and of itself. I don’t know what to call it exactly , but a good example is when I got into an argument with a family member regarding avoiding chores and responsibility, case in point it being 3 pm already and my not even having done the laundry yet. I go to perform said chore and parental unit proceeds to screech excitedly: “ Oh no, you have to come here, look at this! Come watch the thing on tv!” after not a minute ago having given me above spiel coupled with the potent power of the g Jewish guilt. Yeah. Not really sure what to call that, but it pushes my buttons!
• What are you not so good at? Math, Directions, Picking up on social cues, being considerate of other peoples’ feelings/situation, communicating verbally .
• Do you have any talents? Depends on who you ask. I seem to have a number of useless ones like : talking in circles, being random, and nagging people to death until they get so annoyed that they relent just to shut me up. I’m also pretty good at finding things that other people have misplaced/lost , organizing things and doing research online. I’ve also been told that I’m fairly resourceful and good at getting information and making random strangers sing like canari-er-having conversations with them. Yeah. That’s right.
• How do you view friendship? All right, hypocrite alert in 3,2,1: I view friendship as something to be cherished and not taken for granted. Relationships come and go and not every person may have a family and/or a good support system, but a friend can often take on the role of either or both. That’s about it, unless I misunderstood the question?
• Family, friends, lovers, possessions, careers. What order would you put these, from highest to lowest priority? Exactly in the order above actually!
Favorites
• Favorite Color(s) and why? Purple and green . Dunno. Have always been drawn to it. Maybe it’s because I’m a pisces and I love water. Maybe because purple is the color of spirituality, intuition, and sometimes used as a GLBT oriented symbol. Mostly they’re just pretty.
• Favorite Place(s) and why? The beach at nighttime, during the summer , during the full moon. The sound of the waves is calming and gives a sense of serenity and security as does the smell of the ocean. The moon represents magic and feminine power and when you’re all alone you feel as though you’re tapping into something far greater than yourself.
• Favorite Movie(s) and why? “The Nightmare Before Christmas” ( I didn’t know who Tim Burton was at the time, but I loved the off-kilter claymation style and come on now, who doesn’t have a crush on Sally or Jack?), “ Walle -E” (If I tried to explain, I’d be here all night, but mostly the originality of the story and the simplicity and at the same time depth of Wall-E and Eve’s love) and “ The Little Mermaid” ( I grew up on the original story and from a young age was always a little bit obsessed with mermaids. Even though the movie is very different from the Hans Christian Anderson tale , you gotta love Ariel’s spunk and adventurous nature. Also, Ursula just kicks ass as a villain. She might be my favorite out of them all.) SIDE NOTE: Since this is a Disney community, I’m assuming you were asking about favorite Disney Films, but I’ll add some non-Disney if asked.
• Favorite Book(s) and why? Too many to list! “Master and Margarita” , “The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty Trilogy “, “Interview with the vampire” , “The Bride Stripped Bare” , “ The Rabbi’s Daughter” , “ Some Girls: My Life in a Harem”, “ Kushiel’s Legacy” saga and “ White Oleander”.
• Favorite Television Show(s) and why? “ La Femme Nikita” , “ Star Trek Voyager”, “ Dr. Who”, “House M.D.” , “Buffy/Angel” , “Blood +” , “Chobits”, “ Family Guy”, “ Secret Diary of a call girl” , “Medium” , “Andromeda” and “Friends”.
• Favorite Food(s) and why? Sushi , sushi, sushi! Something about a the combination of rice, seaweed and raw fish that just tastes right, but really I like a lot of different kinds of seafood; including mussels, shrimp, calamari and lobster.

• What's your favorite Disney couple? Why? I’ve never really thought about it , but it’s a tie between Wall-E and Eve and Tiana and Naveen . Both seem pretty evenly matched and they’re also good at combining each other’s strength’s and weaknesses harmoniously. They also stand out to me as going to great lengths to protect the other and support each other in achieving what’s important to them.
• Which Disney character could you imagine being best friends with? Why? Jasmine, Ariel or Sally. They’re both really spunky and adventurous and seem like they would have a lot to say and to teach me. I was going to say Giselle, but if I ever met her in person, I’d either end up making her cry and feel bad or keep my mouth shut all the while wanting to punch her in the face. Either way, it wouldn’t end well.
• Which Disney character could you imagine being romantically involved with? Why? Oh dear. I honestly don’t know how to answer this and apologize if I end up making anyone uncomfortable, but the only man for me is Dmitry from “Anastasia” and since he is definitely NOT a Disney characters, I’ma go with the White Queen , “Mirana” from Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” , because she’s strong, beautiful and has somewhat of a hidden darker side/sadistic streak.
