BASICS
Name: Jazmine
Age: Sixteen.
Describe your personality: Two adjectives that I’ve heard most often to describe me are “peaceful” and “bubbly”; it’s a strange combination, but I think it suits me. Drama does not fly with me and if you’re going to try to bring any unnecessary negative energy in my direction, you can bet that I’ll kindly tell you to take it elsewhere. We only have one life to live and I want one that’s good. I’m pretty open-minded to different cultures, points-of-views, and I’m kind of a sucker for philosophical discussions. I’m not always serious, however, and I can be very silly at times. That often means that I’m careless and do things half-assed when things don’t suit me, and I’m a major procrastinator. I just tend to avoid unpleasant things altogether and only face them when absolutely necessary.
Positive and negative traits you would have as a hero: Some positives would be: I wouldn’t judge a person immediately, I’m a good listener, and a loyal friend. Some negatives would be: I’m careless, stubborn, and aloof most of the time.
What do you consider to be some of your worst fears? I don’t want everyone I care about to die on me, or leave me. I think that’s one thing that I absolutely could not handle; knowing that everyone I love and care about is either dead, or they stopped loving me.
What would be your weapons of choice? FLOWERS AND LOVE BEADS. Wait, those don’t count as a weapon. Honestly, I’m not good with physical confrontation and I dislike violence, so I’d resort to a different alternative.
Your outfit: I assume you mean my “default outfit” for my supposed Disney movie, yes? Something hippie-inspired with many bright colors, because that’s how I dress. I love natural jewelry, fringe, and simple but interesting patterns.
Favorites
Color: Turquoise and yellow. They’re beautiful, but bright and cheerful colors that stand out against a sea of black.
Book: Dangerous Angels by Francesca Lia Block and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest by Ken Kesey. Both books are amazing in their own right, but for completely different reasons.
Movie: Practical Magic.
Music: I’m addicted to rock from the 1960’s and 1970’s, but I‘m not limited to just that. I like a lot of reggae, folk, some hip-hop, soul, R&B, pop, and musical soundtracks.
THIS OR THAT
Love or Hate: Love.
Determined or Accepting: Accepting, but I can be determined if a cause especially speaks to me.
Making your own Destiny or Accepting Fate: Making your own destiny.
Brave or Safe: Brave.
Pacifist or Temperamental: Pacifist, but only to a certain point. If I’m in a particularly bad mood and you cross me, I won’t hesitate to snap.
Quiet or outspoken? Quiet.
Forgiving or vengeful? Forgiving.
Leader or follower? Leader, especially if the previous one is incompetent.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? I seriously love living in California, so I’m happy where I am. I might move up and down the state to experience different sceneries, though. (I want to live in the Mojave for at least a little while, then move to Santa Cruz with all the hippies.)
How would you defeat the villain? I’d try to outsmart them, but if that doesn’t work…I’d get by with a little help from my friends.
Damsel in Distress, Loner, Anti-hero - which hero type describes you best? Damsels in distress annoy the living bejeezus out of me, so that’s out of the ruling. (My best friend and I once got into a mini-argument about this sort of thing; she prefers the traditional role of women in society and I’m something of a feminist.) If anything, I'm a loner, I guess.
Anything else you'd like to add? My favorite poem is Slip of the Tongue by Adriel Luis and reading it/watching it be performed is a good way to understand me.
Post a picture of yourself, if you have one and are comfortable doing this. If not, just describe yourself:
Do you want to be stamp male, female, animal or all 3: All three, please.
