Hey everyone, just learned some sas news about Disney the other day. You know the CGI films, like "Monster's Inc." and "Finding Nemo"? Well since Disney has been doing so well with them they shut down the 2-D animation productions in 2002. Can you belive that? What about the new generation of kids, they won't have any movies like "The Lion King" or "Beauty and the Beast". I am going to miss the Disney musicals. *sniffle, sniffle* Well I can't think about that right now or I will cry. So I was bored during Physics today so I made a list. Check it out.
Common factors of Disney movies
1. Of course, a hero or heroine
2. Evil guy
3. A conflict
4. At one point, the hero or heroine believes the coflict is solved, but the evil guy pulls out his final plan for the hero/heroine's downfall. (Kinda of like the calm before the storm)
5. There is always a love interest
6. There is always a comic relief
7. There is always a sidekick who may or may not be the comic relief.
8. In the musicals, there is always a love song, a song sung by the evil guy, and a song sung by the comic relief.
9. One common factot in many is that the mother is either dead or dies, some think this happens because Walt and his brother bought their mom a house and the house had a gas leak and she died. Sad, I know, maybe that is why the mom is killed off.
10. The evil guy is killed in the end by her/heroine
11. The best one A HAPPY ENDING!!
If you guys think of any other common factors tell me please. Peace out!
Samantha.
