Wingapo? What does that mean? And what kind of animal was that?

Oh! I'm Mister Pleakley. I'm a teacher here. It's nice to meet you!

Wingapo means hello. [Lifts Meeko from her lap.] Him? He's a raccoon. [Carefully sets him back down.] And it's very nice to meet you too, Mister Pleakley. What do you teach?

Oh! What language is that in? [Studies Meeko for a moment.] I've heard of raccoons, but I don't think I've ever seen one before... He's cute!

[A proud grin.] I teach fashion design - it's fascinating! And I'm going to advise the school's gay-straight-alliance, too!

OOC: Apparently Powhatan is an extinct language, but I did some research and apparently this is what Pocahontas spoke. I'm not 100% but I just thought I should confess :|

Yes, fashion design! I'm going to be teaching kids to make their own clothes, isn't it wonderful?

Well! A gay-straight alliance is a club where students of all sexualities can come together and... [A pause; he's trying to figure out how to explain it.] And unify the school! That's it! Make it better for everyone, even if they're different.

[She sends him an amused smile, but she does not laugh.] Powhata isn't a place, Pawhatan is a language. Also known as Virginia Algonquian. It is spoken amongst my people. Do you know any other languages?

[Brightens] That is wonderful! I know many women back home who know how to make clothes. My mother taught me the art as well.

That's excellent! Is there any way I can maybe be part of it as well?
