[Helga arrived all of three minutes later. She hadn't bothered to change, still in her boots, military slacks, and her black shirt. The jacket was abandoned after two steps into the room, carefully laid out over a chair. If the prince wanted to challenge her, she certainly wouldn't disappoint.

After all, she might be better at combat, but she'd learned her share of ballroom dancing-- and made good use of it too. For some men, all the diagrams and plans in the world wouldn't inspire a signed check the way a dance partner could.]

[Naveen turned and saw she hadn't bothered to change. Interesting. Nevertheless he grinned, the expression irrepressible, and set the needle. The brass section strikes up the rest of the band and Naveen held out his hand, palm up.]

[Naveen chuckled as he placed his right hand just over the hill of Helga's scapula, holding their connected hands out - arms almost extended fully before he begins just as the piano plays them into the steps. He doesn't count - or appear to be at least. Instead it's a fluid, slow 1-2-3 count in a large circle in the room.
