Faculty.

I have been granted permission to form a search party off-campus. Would anyone like to volunteer to go with me?

This is only available to faculty who are not also students-- Ramirez, that counts you out.

I'm leaving in ten, so respond immediately.

It would be my pleasure to go along.

Forgive me if I hesitate to bring along someone whose reaction to the possibility of the Mist returning to the school is to have a talent show.

I apologize if trying to keep the school out of a state of panic doesn't suit you. I realize you're still trying to differentiate the difference between a boot camp and a children's school.

Either way, my help is available and if you are in fact wanting to find this young girl, I think it would be wise to use as much help as you could get.

Because there's only either a "party" or "panic." And not everyone attending school here is a child. Some are are more than old enough to be told exactly what is going on.

If I got as much help as I could, that would likely involve all the staff and many of the students as well. For safety, the students have to remain, and they need at least some members of the staff to watch them.

So, no. "All the help I can get" isn't actually that wise.

True, but that doesn't take away the fact that this is still a school and should be treated as such.

I don't understand why you're trying to be as detestable as you possibly can be, but, alright. If 'all the help you can get' involves the staff only, you know very well what I'm speaking of.

I so apologize. She's in a really bad mood. notasuggestion July 6 2010, 16:31:54 UTC
The headmaster hired me, and, except for one... altercation... with another teacher, has not remarked on my behavior. I intend to teach the students, but I also expect to keep order.

I have no doubt that much of the staff would go with me. But that would leave the school and the students here without guardians. We've had one disappear-- possibly just wander off.

I'd like a decent number of staff to remain to make sure other students-- either from curiosity or a misguided attempt to help-- don't follow suit.
