Bandages around my ribs and back need to come off. I'd unwrap them, but since Dr. Sweet decided to fix them so I couldn't tamper with them... That hasn't gone well.
[She doesn't reply, just hands over the scissors and moves the back of her shirt up. There's a bit of slack there to make the removal easier, but... she can't reach back well enough to do it herself.
...The bandages definitely show signs of attempted tampering, though.]
[Audrey manages to cut through the bandages after several attempts, Sweet laid them thickly and the scissors were almost useless against them. After a few minutes - and half way through - she gave up on the scissors and grasped the material in her hands to tear apart the last length of it.]
[Helga takes a deep breath and sighs the moment the cutting is finished, the first unrestricted breath she's had in months. The bandages weren't tight but they were snug enough to hinder her.
She lets her shirt fall back down to cover a few scars on her back, at least one that looks like a bullet wound.]
Much better.
Thank you.
[After putting the discarded bindings in a waste basket, she gives Audrey a smirk.]
Four months recovery in total, and the worst of the scars won't last six.
[Before Sweet wrapped her back and ribs, he'd dealt with a slight cut on her side from the rocks when she'd fallen, but it was already mostly healed.]

Did Sweet even say you could take these off?

It's been eight weeks.
And after four more, I can start increasing my workout.

[Audrey placed the scissors down on a desk, and as she lingered there she cracked her knuckles.]
Does it still hurt?

[Another sigh, both agitated and perhaps a bit disheartened.]
Still can't manage even half the workout I could before. Or do a high kick.

[But she knows it could have been worse. Sweet made that very clear. He told her so many times how lucky she was to not be dead or paralyzed.
Her frown deepens, her eyes narrowed just a bit.]
Especially now.
