[It's been sometime since Aqua has been herself. After her brush with the Mist and Xehanort saving her, she's spent her days passed out in the infirmary. Her body had gone into total shut down. Every time she made a little bit of progress, she managed to push herself and be right back to where she started. Then the mist happened and she was

[Message received, although not without a bit of curiosity as to why she was calling him out. He hadn't even seen her since she was sick and passed out in her room and now, she tells him to meet her.

Probably for another spar considering the location.

He was already nearby the quad when she messaged him so, nothing else for him to do other than wait it out until she arrived.]

[By the time she gets over to the quad she zooms in on the red head. There's no hi, no hello from her as she walks up to him.]

Head's up! [That's her greeting, coupled with a fire spell thrown his way. Later she would apologize for her rude behavior, but she needs an out let for her emotions. And that out let would be him.]

[Well, the greeting being something he was familiar with was fine but, it was a little early for her to be firing spells at him. It did confirm his suspicions though that this was a sparring session.

From the looks of it, she wanted to vent. How did he get stuck being the personal punching bag/emotional outlet again?

Nonetheless, with the fire coming towards him, he summoned his weapons so he could use them to dispel the attack.]

[Vent...maybe cry..maybe just crush something. Anything to get her mind off of having her best friend just up and leave. But this is what happens when you're friends, you deal with one another in times of emotional distress. At least she's not talking about her feelings and bawling her eyes out to him.]

Yea, you could say that. [There's a bitterness underlining her words, but maybe Axel will over look it. In one swift motion she calls forth her keyblade and lunges at him.

Direct physical attacks aren't her strongest point, but it doesn't matter. She's nothing thinking, only going from one motion into the next.]

[For someone who claims to not have a heart, having Aqua spill her feelings and cry would just be awkward for him to experience. Getting beaten up out of frustration was slightly more favourable.

Axel manages to block her attack and push her back, swinging back at her with the points on his chakrams.]

[It would be awkward all around if the bluenette started bawling her eyes out so suddenly.

When Axel pushes her back, she should've put more distance between herself and him, but no. A miscalculation on her part ends up with one of the points on Axel's chakram grazing her shoulder, leaving red marks in their wake. She could've brought up her reflective barrier, but no. The pain on her shoulder gives her something else to think about.

Using dash, she tries to strike him from behind.]

[That was a little sloppy of her, getting hit by the blade of his chakram. As she moves around to hit from behind, Axel quickly jumps away from her, getting some distance between them before he lights his weapon on fire and sends one at her.]

[Yes, it was sloppy of her, but it doesn't matter right now does it? If she keeps this up, he might win against her.

There's a muttered curse when he goes back and she's left standing out in the open. Her eyes follow Axel's movements. She can see that flaming chakram coming at her, she knows she should move, but she's frozen. Her sadness and heartache have rotted her to the spot an paralyzed her being. She can't dodge or raise her keyblade to deflect it.

In a last ditch effort, she throws up her reflective barrier. The flaming weapons hits it and bounces off to return to Axel's command.]

[Axel was watching her movements as well for this entire fight so, seeing the barrier go up last minute wasn't really the most impressive move he's seen from her. Really, she could fight so much better than this that it was not really worth continuing. With that in mind, he dispelled the flames on his weapons.]

Are you done now? This is getting boring.

[Her heart is pounding against her chest as her barrier comes down. Left breathless, she sinks to her knees trying to figure out what just happened. She saw that weapon coming, but her body refused to move. She wasn't fit to fight anyone right now.

Which meant Axel wanted to leave. Just like...]

No. [She whispered, bowing her head as she picked herself up. She took in a deep breath, hoping that would help.]

...I'll be okay. [She just needs to keep moving, keep herself distracted.]

But if we continue, you won't be okay. [He wouldn't hold back just because she wasn't into it. That's why he was stopping now because, if she forced herself to continue, he'd knock her down until she was hospitalized just so she would stay down.

Not because he cared or anything. Just because she needed to be in better form than this if they were to fight again.]

You know, you're not really good at using fighting as a venting mechanism. It's sloppy form.

[You know, it doesn't dawn on Aqua that Axel might be caring about her health. What she does notice is that he's trying to take the one thing that makes her feel semi-normal. The one thing that's always remained constant in her routine.

She snaps her head up to glare at him, not aware there are tears that are ready to fall from her eyes.]

I don't need to vent! There's nothing wrong with me! [Except she's falling apart at the seams.]

[It doesn't dawn on him either. And now with her screaming at her, he doesn't know exactly what to do. Aqua has always been the one who was calm and level headed. Now, he wasn't exactly sure what to do with her when she was like this because fighting was not an option anymore.]

Fine. We can continue this but, I'm not going to attack you.

But, I don't think you can land a hit on me either.

[She shakes her head. This isn't what she wants, but if they can't fight physically then verbally would have to do.]

What makes you so sure? Because I'm shorter than you? [She takes a step, her anger, pain...sadness...try as she might to control those emotions, they've taken over her.]

I've kicked your butt before and now you're trying to walk away? What gives you the right to do that? To just up and leave me, Terra?! [The words slip out of her mouth with her realizing it. Nor does she feel one tear coming down her cheek.]

So that's explains it. This was about you being angry at him for leaving.

[Dispelling the weapons completely, Axel sighed, not sure what to do now. While he knew conventionally, trying to comfort someone would result in a hug or something of that nature but, this was Aqua. It wasn't going to be the same as when he tried to comfort Jasmine, despite they were both girls and they were crying. So, at the moment, he just stood there. Probably a bit longer than he should.]

[Did...she really just call Axel, Terra? Her eyes went wide from her stupid mistake. Why did that slip from her lips? Why did she have to blurt out what she feeling? She can't lie and take it back...he knew..

And damnit, now she was starting to cry...

Aqua bowed her head, bringing a hand up to cover her face.]

...I shouldn't have said that.....[The words were whispered as she tried to keep herself from sobbing and acting like such a girl right then and there.]

...But he...did leave...[Another deep breath. She already cried in front of Xehanort once over Terra..she wasn't about to do the same thing in front of Axel.]
