[Poor Ray. It would seem in his concern for the stars being blocked out, he's found himself out wandering in the darkness of the Mist. He clutches his lantern tighter than he ever had before, which was difficult considering how cold he felt.
Yes, it was cold... VERY cold. He almost felt like he was going to freeze, he'd never been somewhere this cold before. It made it hard for him keep going or even breathe. He couldn't even see anything, even with his light, it was as dark as it could possibly be...
As he tried with all his strength to make it somewhere safe, he starts to notice the light of his lantern slowing growing dimmer and dimmer.... and he was feeling weaker and weaker...
Evangeline couldn't reach him now.
At this rate, he knew the light would go out completely and he wouldn't be able to stay in human form... Or maybe even stay alive...
Exhausted and desperately, he gasps and calls in into black, misty, cold abyss surrounding him...]
