[Whispers ring in Dory's ears, and another shadow lingers in her window, then moves on. But the whispering only intensifies, filling her ears with an inescapable white noise.

It's no longer out the window, but does that mean-- is it actually coming to find her?]

[Dory shrieks and drops both the comm and flashlight, scrambling back into her closet and burrowing under a pile of clothes.

[All is silent for what seems to be a long, long while. Then, just moments before Dory would chance peeking her head out of her closet, her door creaks open of its own accord.]

[Too terrified to make another sound, Dory simply cowers in place, not daring to turn her head and look at what might be there.]
