[ Returning only the evening before to a dorm room as she'd left it, Helga's made sure to tie up whatever ends she'd left loose before she left for the rescue. She'd returned Miss Maza's handgun with a token of thanks on her desk, left Santorini a note about how a demolitions class might actually be handy, and she was going to make it a point to welcome Thatch back sooner or later. But now she's had a good evening's sleep and a hot shower, she needs to get back to business.
It's fairly early in the afternoon after her class has let out that she sends an audio message to Astrid. ]
Miss Hofferson, after your classes, you owe me detention later this afternoon in my classroom. Don't keep me waiting.
[ Oh, but this wasn't any ordinary detention, Astrid would find out. And by ordinary, she meant she wouldn't be scrubbing floors with toothbrushes, or washing half frozen windows. Nope, in her room was a single chair set out for the viking and if there was to be any actual punishment, the aforementioned would have to warrant it in some other way. Until then, Helga sits, carrying on with papers and doing her grading, as any teacher does in the time they are alone. ]
