[ If you haven't seen his thin, evil-laden, leather-clad self lately, that's probably for good reason. He's become more anti-social than usual. In fact, he's all but vanished for some time. The only people he's seen on a regular basis are his students--and perhaps a small, black-haired voodoo-toying child.

[ To be honest, she'd intended to bother the blue alien much much earlier, but even she had her own business and classes to attend to, so, now would be the earliest. Unfortunately, she hadn't the idea of donuts, and he didn't strike her as the refined type who enjoyed tea. So, coffee. ]

[he sits up lightning fast in his chair--the voice was a little too unfamiliar...he clears his throat--you did not scare him, madame--and leans back again; he had seen her about the school once or twice...]

[ She sounds less than amused at his quip. Still, she approaches, setting the mug on the desk curtiously away from anything it could be spilled on. ]

Captain Amelia Smollet. Astronomy teacher. I had every intention to introduce myself sooner, but, it seems more pressing matters have delayed me. Curfew rounds, however, have granted me opportunity. Permit me, Megamind, was it? I vaguely remember your introductory video, please excuse me.

[he eyes the mug...and turns his chair around--normally, he would be turning on the evil charm, the laughter, the down right gloriousness obnoxicity, but...as he tries to steeple his fingers and quirk an eyebrow, he only sighs and gestures] Yes, I am Megamind, super villain extraordinaire. [he backtracks what she only just said--] Astronomy, Captain?

Super villain extraordinaire. Well, it seems everyone has their calling.

Correct. I find it much easier to map them when you've been to them, or around them, rather.

[ Her ears quirk. ]

Precisely. A Captain for hire if you will.

[ She gives a haphazard glance towards the quadrant scribbled on the board. She knows that area, from her history books from the space academy. Nothing's clicked just yet. ]

I've been a bit busy, what with the school. I haven't been arching nearly as much. [read: at all.]

[he follows her eyes to the chalk board briefly and clears his throat; his academic nerdiness makes him turn on his manners from time to time] Quite the profession. Where have you been, if you don't mind my asking, naturally.

[ She decides to take a seat with her own cup of coffee, mulling over the question. ]

Other than making port in Montressor, I'm sure if you'd asked, I could tell you whether or not I'd been in the atmosphere or not. I can tell you, however, my latest brought me through the Silpion Galaxy, and just about every star inbetween.
