[When Mulan's visage flickers on to the comm this time around it's all business. Her mouth is set into a firm line before she bows and begins to speak.]

Hello everyone. I know I haven't been a part of the staff for long, but...

[She pauses and frowns, then continuesBut I think we should get together and discuss these kidnappings. We've sat around ( Read more... )

I took the liberty of adding this to our meeting.

Which of us has not undergone this process? If it indeed a good barrier against the mist I am of the belief that it should be mandatory for staff to attend -- and that they should be prioritized in training.

Also, Doctor Facilier, is there any way possible that you can teach staff to dream train as well?

I signed up for dream training but haven't gotten around to it.

[She then admits a bit sheepishly]

Because I have been in the mist three separate times I guess I haven't put it as my highest priority.

Three-- [He paused, his eyebrows slightly raised. He was impressed.]

That is invaluable experience. And the only reason you're now included in these discussions is because you became a staff member?

[Ridiculous system. >:| ... then again, he has experienced similar wasteful structures.]

Yes... it's part of the reason I became staff. I was tired of constantly being left in the dark as to decisions everyone was making.

Y'all mean t'help me give trainin' to the students, or are you askin' me whether faculty can sign up themselves? If you're gettin' at the latter, I've already had a couple staff members in. As to the other, I'm afraid it's more of a one-man operation. Delicate stuff, I can't jus' have anyone pokin' aroun' students' minds.

Ah, I see. I was not aware it involved such... ['Poking around minds' was disturbing him, briefly making him reconsider his own sign-up, but he quickly shoved his disturbed thoughts to the side.]

What I mean is that all staff should be required to take the training and they should be scheduled as the priority as opposed to first-come-first-serve.

I'm afraid my excuse falls into the same category as Miss Fa's. Due to first hand experience, I've put it off in favor of those much more fortunate than I.

The 'first come first serve' basis was good at first for getting the eager and worried out of the way, I suggest we follow a much more organized list of whoever's in attendance, rather than expect everyone to follow suit.

I agree.

Doctor, would this be manageable for you, or would you like an assistant to help you with your clerical work? [in other words: WANT A SECRETARY, FACI?]

Mandatory? No. Absolutely not. There's no way I'm getting voodooed again. Besides, there's no telling what that strong of voodoo would do to my magic.

But the mist is more powerful than the voodoo that happened. That just wore off....

The mist...

[....]

One of my friends forgot everything about the people who tried to rescue him. If it's that powerful we need to take some risks.
