[Goliath has begun his morning writing a note to Elisa, as their sleep schedules are no longer compatible. As a rule, they both try not to commit anything too personal to text over the comms, but what can you do when one of you is stone at night, and the other during the day?
Maybe he's a little disoriented from sleeping without sun, or maybe he's just distracted by all this voodoo madness. Whatever the cause, his letter to Elisa fails to stay privatized.]
My love,
The novelty of sunlight is an empty comfort without you to share it with. This world of ours is beautiful by day, yet in the light of a high noon, I miss the gentle touch of moonlight.
Still, it gladdens my heart to know the warmth of the sun, the beauty of the world after sunrise, and to think that such pleasures are yours to enjoy freely. I will continue seeking a way to restore this privelege to you.
Would that the night were come, that I might sleep and await your words. Sleep well, my love. I long to soar with you, but my heart would be content to hear your voice again.
[A magically screwed up biological clock is no excuse for slacking off on the job, so Goliath will be patrolling the rest of the campus during the day, and he's much easier to run into in daylight than usual.]
