005 ~ ACTION (open to all)

[Guess who had no idea of the voodoo event, and hadn't even been paying attention to his communicator for the past few days?

This guy right here.

But why? For the usual reasons; He was feeling distracted from his goals and so he withdrew from anything deemed 'distracting'. In the mornings he would do his classes, but then he would not go back to his office or quarters. Instead, he would stay at the shooting range and practice.

His focus was on the target. While made of paper he considered it the head of one Cutler Beckett. Crack went his pistol, and another clean shot between the eyes was made - or the bulls-eye in this case.

But he had a gnawing feeling in the pit of his stomach he was trying to ignore. Guilt. Not due to his murderous thoughts in the name of justice, no. Guilt because he was avoiding the, to him, inevitable reconciliation of William Turner and Elizabeth Swann.

He would never admit it, but sometimes it was very difficult not to imagine that the target was Turner instead of Beckett. The very thought, however brief, was always shoved aside and it shook him to his core.

Time to reload.]
